Fighting for Miami’s families

Meet Ralph Rosado

Born and raised in Miami, Ralph Rosado is passionate about building a stronger, more vibrant community. With nearly six years as City Manager of another Miami-Dade County City, Ralph led one of Florida’s fastest-growing cities to win the prestigious "Best Master Plan of the Year" award, secure billions in private investment, and pass one of Miami-Dade’s largest-ever infrastructure bonds—approved by voters with a nearly 2-to-1 margin.

Ralph's education reflects his dedication to public service. He holds a PhD in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, where he focused on neighborhood revitalization, and a joint Master’s in Public Policy and Urban Planning from Princeton University, where he broke ground as the first Hispanic president of the Graduate Student Government in Public Policy. At FIU’s Honors College, Ralph served as Vice President of Student Government and was named one of the university's "Graduating Seniors of the Year."

Over the years, Ralph has been recognized as a Miami Fellow, a member of Leadership Florida, and a Top Latino Leader by Latino Leaders Magazine. He’s also chaired Miami’s $400 million "Miami Forever Bond" Citizens’ Oversight Board and was one of just two Floridians selected as a Presidential Leadership Scholar.

The son of Cuban exiles, Ralph is a proud family man. He and his wife, Maria, have been married for almost 25 years and are raising three amazing kids—a college-aged daughter and two high school-aged sons. Ralph is running for City Commissioner to bring fresh ideas, proven leadership, and a deep love for Miami to the role.
